Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)
Since 2008 it has been a legal requirement for all rented and marketed properties to have an Energy Performance Certificate.
The minimum requirements for letting a property are currently under review with the aim for as many of them as possible to be upgraded to a band C by 2030 where practical cost effective and affordable.
At Get smart energy services we are experts on giving advice on how to achieve this standard, however some properties, either due to design or age may not reasonably achieve this so we are here to help guide you through the exemption process

It protects you against any disputes for damages at the end of a tenancy and are used as evidence by adjudicators in any disputes.
